Our Story

As the current custodians of Bunoich Croft, Karen and Jonathan would like to welcome you to Croft Cabin.

Croft Cabin has been designed and built by ourselves to offer comfortable accommodation in our rural croft setting. We hope guests will enjoy the relaxing tranquil location and experience the slower pace of crofting life whilst within easy access of Fort Augustus village centre and the conveniences this offers.

In addition to ourselves and pets, the croft is also home to a variety of wildlife, our friendly Bluebelle and Black Rock hens who produce delicious golden yoked eggs and our mischievous Hebridean sheep otherwise known as our ground maintenance team.

Since moving onto the croft we have worked hard to bring it back to life and although it is still work in progress we benefit from an increasingly productive vegetable patch. This provides a lot of our fruit and vegetables helping reduce our food miles whilst we benefit from tasty, fresh, nutritious food free from plastic packaging and pesticides.
